Voice Recorder HD App Reviews

This is my go-to recording app for all the various interviews and presentations I cover as a professional writer.

This recorder app is great, however it would be even better if it had more option for playback speed, such as 2.5x or 3.0x playback speeds. Recording content is important, but reviewing/listening to recorded content is just as critical...

Great app for recording all your needs! You cant afford to do without it! Five stars for sure!

Purchased only to find an up-sell for playback controls, which was one of the main reasons I purchased and can be seen in the picture advertising the app. I would pay more for a full featured recorder, but not when the up-sell surprises me.

Its horrible dont waste your money. It doesnt play your voice memos backward like it should so please dont buy it.

This app is pretty good and its very clear. I use this app on my Apple Watch as it is very easy to get to and is just as clear on the watch but one thing that I have an issue with is when I hit record it will not start same thing as when I try to stop recording. I will have to go to my iPhone and shut it off that way. Kind of inconvenient since I bought this app specifically for my Apple Watch. I have only had this app for about a week and today is the first time its done this to me granted I have not used it much yet. Hopefully they will fix it soon. And the other thing I dont like is you have to continue to purchase tools on the app such as when you want to listen to your recordings I had to pay .99 cents which isnt much but considering you bought the app you would think that would at least come with it. Other then those 2 issues I still think it is a great app and I would recommend it just PLEASE fix that first issue. -

This app only records; but once you hit the stop button the recording is gone. Even though I paid for the app, when you go into the settings you have to buy all of the nice features that they advertise, like the playback controls. This is a rip off, buyer beware. I had to select a star in order to post; but if given the choice the app would get a negative star.

Does everything I need it to do. Simple layout. No complaints at all:)

Works very well for me. The controls are a bit awkward but otherwise it is a fine app. My recordings are backed up to dropbox. Backup is important and a lifesaver when you truly need it.

My friend suggested I try this app for recording songs from our chorus. It is simple to use. The next day I can re-name the files with the songs name, so I can practice them anytime. I am happy with the app!

Far better controls than iPhone Voice Memo. I use this regularly for in-person interviews.

Overall, this has been a solid app. My only gripe is that it randomly has issues sending to Dropbox. Feature requests: transcription and saving as MP3.

Very misleading, dont bother. After downloading this app, youll immediately discover that basic features: rewind, fwd, audio visualizer, etc., are only accessible by making in-app purchases. Even the bare bones features like file save isnt reliable.

We have used this to record church services for over a year, then transfer to Audacity to edit before uploading. Very straightforward, never had a problem.

Once you buy this app youll realize you have to PAY for more simple features like trimming audio, playback settings, and converting to M4A... the FREE "Voice Memo" app from the iPhone comes with all those features for free!

I believe it is very simple to use; however, if there was two things I dont like it would be, sometimes in transferring to dropbox, it loses connection even when Im connected to my own Wi-Fi and doesnt finish. One other thing would be is the progress bar is not accessible with voiceover.
